today my dog showed her teeth without groling and my family told me that dog's smile, do thay? and what else wired things do that do? like what body languge mean's what and can thay talk? tell me every wird thing a dog can do so i know not to scold them when thay do it cause the smile thing scard me and i yelled at her for doing it!

Dalmatians smile as well and I seen that from one of our friends Dal's.
Our dog does this when trying to ask for something mostly.

Tue, March 18, 2008 - 8:18 AMYep, I've seen lots of dogs do this as a smile. I've been trying to get mine to do it, but instead they just curl up the corners of their mouths as a smile.
And I wouldn't scold your dog for every little weird thing she does. That doesn't accomplish anything and just makes her scared of you, which doesn't allow you to build a healthy relationship with her. Use positive enforcement and I highly suggest enrolling in an obedience class so you know how to properly train her without punishment (such as yelling) and create a very positive relationship with her. -

Wed, March 19, 2008 - 7:55 AMthank's to both of you! i seen my doggy smile alot yesterday when we went for a ride and we left them in the buss to go food shopping and we came back she was licking the window and showing her perly wights i had to ture around so she won't see me laugh it was sooooo cute!!! yes i would love to enroll both in an obedience class i think it would be a great thing sicne this is the first time me and my hubby ownd dog's after the obedience class i want them in a trick class so thay can learn tricks too! there very loveing and effectionate doggy's and i love them like i love my whole family thay are family just like my fish that lived for two going on three years now he is a dogo fish and it is cool to watch him eat cause he dace's with grace as he eats!!!
